Deep inhale cleanses the poison.
Terrific blossoms lingering settles the haze.
Glints of green, starks of red and yellow.
Glimmering colors opens sight unseeing.
Birds happily singing and undeprived of flight,
With hymns of peace, I hear reality.
The warmth brushes off the frigid remains.
Caressing, the rays of light touches the soul.
Time ought not to disturb.
Deadlines do not define living.
Each step signifies all too much,
And thorns enough to teach.
It tingles from the spine through the fingers.
Eyes wide open for the first time in ages.
